Unlike its legendary predecessor, the BMW M3 E30, the second M3, based on the E36 series, was not developed primarily for motorsport. This was done in order to address an even broader target group with the new BMW M3. Produced in the years 1992 to 1999, the BMW M3 E36 equipped with a fantastic in-line six-cylinder has now matured into a sought-after and highly traded youngtimer.
