“Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury – exclusive travel at the highest level”. This is how Mercedes-Benz describes its trial of a crossover between an exclusive highend saloon and an SUV, which it presented at the Auto China Show in Beijing in 2018. The show car thus combines the comfort and typical strengths of both chassis variants. The Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury is designed as an electric car with four compact, permanent-magnet synchronous electric motors and fully variable all-wheel drive. The top performance of these concept cars is 550 kW / 750 hp, which enables a top speed of 250 km/h. The battery installed in the underbody of the car has a capacity of 80 kWh and provides a range of up to 500 kilometres.
